Summary of Skills and Experience
Ayurveda and Herbal Research has been the core strength besides a long experience in teaching. More so because the leads come from the knowledge that comes from the Ancient texts of Ayurveda coupled with latest research methodology adopted from Pharma companies in the herbal sector is well known to him.
Industry Experience
A) As Director of Dabur Research Foundation, provided leadership in the following activities:
- Ayurvedic product formulation, both classical and Proprietary.
- Generating new ideas of New Product development and sharing them with marketing teams.
- Making Protocols for Clinical Studies of different products, initiating Clinical Trials, Monitoring Clinical Trials and finally Analysis of the data and Report writing.
- Networking with Medical Institutes and Research Organisations for conducting Toxicity, conducting Experimental studies and for Clinical Trials of the products under development.
- Leading the Regulatory Group for International Business on the several regulatory understandings of US, EU and other international markets.
- Drawing up the specifications of Raw Materials which are purchased for use in the company and in case of non-availability of certain raw materials, technically suggesting the way forward.
- Drawing up Protocols for Stability and shelf life of Ayurvedic products.
